>HELP PROTECT YOURSELF FROM MENINGITIS -URGENT VACCINATION PROGRAMME
Meningitis and Septicaemia can cause serious illness, often without warning. If eligible, you could get a free MenB vaccine to help protect you from the dangers of meningococcal group B disease. You are eligible if you:
-were born between 2nd July 2007 and 1st July 2008
-are starting as an undergraduate at university for the first time in autumn 2026 (and were born on or after 21st July 2001)
-will be living in further education accommodation or student halls for the first time in autumn 2026 (and were born on are after 21st July 2001)
You will need 2 doses for full protection. Please see following link for more details:

>We plan to move to a text messaging system in the near future. Can all patients please ensure that the Practice holds your most recent mobile number and email address ahead of this. If you prefer not to be contacted by text please inform the practice so that your records can be updated accordingly.
>Patients can order their repeat prescriptions and book their appointments online. Please ask a member of staff about how to register for this service.
**Please note if patients are having difficulty getting registered for online services, the Practice is holding Summer Help sessions to help get you online. Patients are welcome to drop in (no appointment necessary) to the Plumbridge site on Monday 24th August or Wednesday 26th August between 2.30pm - 4.30 pm when a member of staff will assist you.
>**Please note the Plumbridge site is closed on Tuesday afternoons and the Gortin Site is open. The Gortin site is closed on Thursday afternoons and the Plumbridge site is open**.
